Battleboard is a martial art that uses skateboard as a weapon. This combat art is designed for self-defense of skateboarders.
The idea and the emergence of the techniques appeared in the 2000 and 2003 years. The Battleboard creator was Ivan Velchev. For personal reasons and causes the Battleboard art is kept secret. Only a small group of people knew about it. A decision was made in 2017 to popularize Battleboard to help society and develop art. Battleboard borrows techniques and customs from all martial arts to make it as effective as possible and art-accessible. This art is young and is still developing. There are two styles - free and classic. 
In the classic, only the board of contact with the opponent is used, while the free contact includes the limbs for direct contact. The philosophy and the strategy of the classic Battleboard is the use of techniques developed against the particular type of opponent and weapon.The basic principle of this martial art is, in the attack, the enemy to hurt his attacking parts by contact with the board and to give up! The art is created and guided by the principles of nonviolence and peace assembled from philosophies and arts from all over the world! Battleboard's mission is to protect, save, create and preserve peace and harmony!
